The International Drone Pilot Certification Association designs standards for the drone industry through various certifications. Our credentials assess drone pilots through our independent, third-party certifying entity. The International Drone Pilot Certification Association uses standards for knowledge, skills and competencies developed by our corporate workforce development board.

Location
The cost of a certification exam is $40.
The independent, third-party exams are mostly proctored online, excluding the Drone Flight Maneuvers Certification and Advanced Flight Maneuvers Certification, which are coordinated at a meeting place with an drone instructor or certified teacher. Accommodations for all exams are available as needed.
